JOSEPH D. ALFONSI

PARTNER

Prior to building TriBen Insurance Solutions, Joe Alfonsi was a sales representative for Unum for twelve years. He was a perennial sales award winner and multiple Sales Rep of the Year winner. He sold, implemented and serviced the most voluntary employee benefits groups in the company’s history (nearly 700 individual groups). He grew the Unum Philadelphia office Worksite Benefits block from $1 Million to approximately $33 Million. Often approached to speak at national insurance sales conferences, Joe was featured in the June 2009 lead story of Benefits Selling magazine and was named the Voluntary Benefits Advisor of the Year for 2016 by Employee Benefit Advisor magazine. He sits on multiple carrier panels and has been hired as a Consultant by several carriers. Prior to joining Unum, Joe was a Police Officer for ten years in a municipal police department in PA. His police certifications included interviewing and negotiation techniques from the FBI and Penn State University. Also recognizing Joe’s leadership and training talents, the police department certified Joe as the department’s Field Training Officer, as well as the department’s DARE officer. He is a graduate of St. Joseph’s University with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Management Information Systems. He is married with five children and is influential in his community and the CYO, having coached multiple sports teams for the last two decades. Joe was also instrumental in organizing and raising money for dozens of Special Olympics events over his professional career. He currently sits on the St. Francis of Assisi CYO Board and is the basketball Moderator for the CYO.

AUGUSTINO J. RUSSO

PARTNER

Prior to building TriBen Insurance Solutions, Tino Russo was a sales representative for a highly regarded disability carrier for fourteen years. He was a perennial award winner with multiple Regional and National awards. Tino qualified for the carrier’s National Sales Conference every year during his tenure. He was the pioneer of the “integrated sale”, leveraging and combining group and individual insurance products for more favorable underwriting and pricing concessions. During his tenure, he grew his block of business in excess of $65 Million of group insurance premium. His expertise and results with regard to Disability, Life, FMLA and Long Term Care programs have separated himself from his competitors within his marketplace. Tino routinely conducted underwriting training presentations at his prior carrier’s Home Office. He is a graduate of The College of New Jersey, with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Business Administration. He played football and received All American Honors. He is married and lives in Villanova, PA with his wife Sharon and two boys, Dylan and Tino Jr. He is active in his community with numerous youth and CYO programs.

SHANNA L. MANCUSO

DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS

Shanna Mancuso worked at a leading disability carrier for nearly 5 years. She marketed, implemented and serviced the most Voluntary Benefit employer groups, within her role as an Enrollment Manager, in her prior company’s history. Her experience and knowledge of employee engagement, enrollment technology, case set up, customer interface, product knowledge, etc. is unprecedented in our marketplace. Formerly employed by a healthcare staffing agency, she staffed healthcare facilities in Philadelphia and the surrounding counties. Shanna inspired her former employer to create an Inforce Block Growth Strategy, targeting older Voluntary Benefit groups. She personally resurrected dozens of small, mid and large size Voluntary Benefit groups, which were in “closed status” and implemented more robust products and enrollment strategies. Shanna is married and has two daughters named Isabella and Ava. They live in South Jersey.

CLAUDINE O’NEILL

SENIOR ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

Claudine O’Neill brings with her 20 years of experience working at leading carriers and brokerage in the Group and Worksite Employee Benefit Insurance Industry. Prior to joining TriBen Insurance Solutions, Claudine was a Senior Enrollment Consultant and an Account Manager for a highly regarded life and disability carrier for twelve years. During her tenure, she oversaw the enrollment for the Eastern PA Territory, identified, implemented and created enrollment solutions for small and large companies partnering with sales reps, account managers, underwriters, brokers, HR managers, and benefit counselors to maximize enrollment participation. As an Account Manager, Claudine managed a $25M block of business for one of the top producing brokers in the Philadelphia Region. She serviced Group Disability, Life, AD&D, Stop Loss, Dental and Worksite Benefits. In her spare time, Claudine enjoys running, spending time with her family and the outdoors. Claudine is an ambassador for anything related to Autism. She is married and lives in Chester County, PA with her husband Michael and her twin boys, Zachary and Liam.

KEVIN SIDELLA

BENEFITS CONSULTANT

Kevin joined the TriBen Family in September of 2020 after having worked for two decades at, with and for every level of governance – federal, state and local. Kevin started his career working for the Democratic Party on campaigns, he then went on to be a writer and project coordinator for the Pennsylvania House of Representatives. After that, he began his own political fundraising and direct mail firm. At one point, Kevin’s firm was the largest direct mail firm for the Democratic Party in the state of Pennsylvania moving over a million pieces of mail through his doors in one calendar year. More recently, Kevin served as the National Director of Sales for a company called PROCHAMPS out of Melbourne, Florida. While at PROCHAMPS, Kevin doubled the company’s client footprint and expanded operations into 13 different states. Kevin is now focused on growing TriBen’s client footprint, particularly in the public sector arena. He is a graduate of Alvernia University with graduate experience from Penn State University. Kevin lives in the Harrisburg area with his wife Bethany and their three children.

JEAN LAUDADIO

BENEFITS CONSULTANT

Jean has worked at TriBen as a Benefits Consultant since 2013, after a 25 year successful career in real estate and property management. As a Licensed Insurance Consultant and Real Estate Broker since 1990, Jean has excelled in all facets of Customer Relations, particularly around Employee and Customer Engagement. She earned an MBA from West Chester University and is also a Certified Property Manager. Jean is an avid reader, an exercise enthusiast and eager traveler, enjoying all the amazing locations of our great country and abroad! Saving the best for last, Jean spends much of her free time volunteering, as she distributes food and basics to needy individuals and families in the Philadelphia and Suburban regions and transports cancer patients to their Physician visits and treatments. TriBen is so fortunate to have Jean on our team, as she epitomizes what is means to be a kind, loving human being.

PATRICK DOHERTY

BENEFITS CONSULTANT

Pat joined TriBen in 2013, shortly after the inception of the company. He has been in the insurance industry since 2009, after graduating from The College of Holy Cross, where he played Division 1 Basketball. Pat holds multiple insurance and financial services licenses including Life, Accident and Health, Series 7 and 66, as well as a Property and Casualty Producer’s License. Pat also completed his Group Benefits Associate (GBA) designation from the University of Pennsylvania – The Wharton School. Residing in the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre area, Pat has been instrumental in building a substantial block of business in that region for TriBen. Pat enjoys spending time with his wife, Kathleen, and his daughter Emma.

KEVIN KENNEDY

BENEFITS CONSULTANT

After 17 years on Wall St, trading on the New York Board of Trade (NYBOT) and Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), Kevin jumped into the benefits consulting arena and partnered with TriBen in 2014. Prior to his time with TriBen, Kevin priced, underwrote and traded options, earning consistent returns in excess of 500% annually. With TriBen, Kevin has sold, implemented, and serviced benefit programs for employer groups of all sizes, including not-for-profits, Fortune-ranked companies, and public entities. Kevin is a regular contributor to the benefits trade journal, BenefitsPro Magazine. His social media marketing education and activity has garnered thousands touchpoints and accolades for TriBen. He has also become extremely affluent in State mandated Employee Leave Laws and Compliance practices and policies, including FMLA and ACA. He is a graduate of The College of New Jersey with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance. He is married and lives in Princeton, NJ with his wife, Trisha, and their two daughters, Gianna and Kayla.
